Description

This airport is located near the city of Locarno in the Ticino, Switzerland.

It’s a mixed Civilan and military plateform.

Since 1942, the Swiss Air Force use it for basic flight training of military pilots.

One paved runway and two grass runway for VFR flight travel to and from the Alps.

Locarno is aslo known for intense activities: Helicotpers, gliders, Aerolocarno civil school and skydive.
