El Salvador International Airport Saint Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez, formerly known as Comalapa Airport, is the main international aerodrome in El Salvador. It has a 3,200-meter-long runway, the longest in the entire Central American region. It has a category 4 E certification, so it can operate Boeing 747, Airbus A340, Boeing 777, Airbus A350, Boeing 787 aircraft at its maximum capacity. It serves approximately 2.5 million passengers per year and is the only Central American hub for Avianca Airlines, which is a merger of almost every Central American Airlines that had existed. The airport is considered one of the safest in Latin America due to its placement on flat terrain, high-precision approach systems, papis, high-intensity runway lighting, and long rolling distance. It has fourteen terminals and in 2022 a new stage was inaugurated that expanded the airport with five more terminals, one of these with the capacity to connect to long-range aircraft.
Monseñor Romero Airport has a predecessor, Ilopango International Airport, formerly known as San Salvador Airport. Ilopango was once the largest and busiest airport in Central America until the civil war interrupted its operations. The airport is more than 50 years old since the first landing of a large jet on the runway of the Ilopango International Airport. It ended its international flight services in January 1980 and was renovated to receive commercial flight passengers in 2014.
Features:
• 3D models of the terminals, relevant buildings, and more have been created from scratch

• The lighting and foliage have been configured correctly, allowing a greater immersion in the installations
• Updated high-quality texturing
• Maintenance and storage hangars have been positioned in their correct locations
