Fenland sits in the heart of the scenic Lincolnshire Fens just North of Cambridge has been dubbed ‘The hardest airfield to find in the UK’ and with good reason, it is notoriously difficult to spot from the air with few distinct landmarks all the surrounding fields looking suspiciously like runways.
Even on the busiest of days, Fenland Aerodrome never feels crowded or chaotic, there’s always welcoming atmosphere and ample spectator viewing. Fenland is a busy place for such a small airfield, with year round fly-ins for different aircraft types from Bulldogs to Chipmunks, air shows and a busy Flying School and Aero Club.

• Correct AI pattern procedures and accurate taxiway and runway placement have been incorporated into the release
• Full night lighting has been placed across the airfield and within and around the hangars and buildings
